Sara Janzen

1905 - 2002

On May 28, 2002, at the Donwood Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, Sara Janzen (nee Klassen), age 97, formerly of the Burwalde District & Winkler, went to her eternal rest.

She was predeceased by husband John H. Janzen in 1987, and son Johnnie Janzen in 1996.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters Anne & Peter Schroeder of Winnipeg; Ruth & Mervyn Kroeker of Winnipeg; 2 sons Dave & Helen Janzen of Brandon; Clarence & Maryann Janzen of Elm Creek; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Monday June 10, 2002, 11:00am at the Winkler M.B. Church,  Pastor Ted Goossen officiating.  Interment followed at the Winkler Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan available at the church.
