Peter I. Penner

1919 – 2002

On Sunday, July 14, 2002 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Peter I. Penner, aged 82 years, of Gnadenthal, passed away.

He was survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (nee Fehr) Penner, 2 daughters; Betty and Abe Goertzen of Hochfeld; Mary and Abe Wiebe of Krohnsthal; 4 sons; Peter and Erma of Morden; Jake and Mary of Altona; Frank and Maryann of Winkler; Victor and Brenda of Winkler; 19 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by 1 daughter Eva in 1955 and 1 son-in-law John Martens.

Funeral service was held on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the Winkler Mennonite Church at 2:00pm with Rev. Bernie Thiessen officiating. Interment followed at the Gnadenthal Cemetery.
