Merle Slute

1934 – 2005

On Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the Grace General Hospital, Winnipeg, after a long courageous battle with arthritis, Merle Slute, aged 70 years, of Oakview Place, Winnipeg, formerly of Darlingford and Morden, MB went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 1 sister Berna and Jack Lalonde of Winnipeg and nieces and nephew, Donna Lalonde, Judy Lalonde, Marilyn Lalonde, and Frank Lalonde. She also leaves to mourn 9 great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Len (1990) and Myrtle (1992) Slute.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 11:00am at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with Rev. Doug Craig officiating. Interment followed at Darlingford Cemetery.
