On Saturday, December 3, 2005 Maria “Mary” Zacharias (nee Dyck) aged 83 years of Winkler formerly of Mason District, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Jake D. Zacharias; children Evelyn (Isaac) Wolfe, Ed (Grace) Zacharias, Lorraine (Menno) Wieler, Ron Zacharias; 7 grandchildren; 1 sister; 2 brothers.
She was predeceased by her son David, in 1970.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Glencross Mennonite Church with Pastor Lawrence Klassen and Rev. Ben Wiebe officiating. Interment followed at the Glencross Church Cemetery.
