rest.

(Melendez), age 86 years, of Winkler, formerly of Mexico, went to her eternal
rest.
She was predeceased by husband Edwardo Melendez in 1991; and daughters Sara in 1993 and Victoria in 2001.
She leaves to mourn her passing, son Ruben and wife Josefina Melendez of Los Lunas, New Mexico; 2 daughters Elizabeth and husband David Burciaga of Muleshoe, Texas; Martha and husband Ron Friesen of Winnipeg; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Wednesday July 23, 2003, 9:45am at the Salem Home Chapel, Winkler, Rev. David Friesen officiating. Interment followed at the Chortitz Church Cemetery, South of Winkler.
