On Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Louise Wiebe (nee Peters) wife of the former mayor of Winkler, the late Henry F. Wiebe (1999), aged 80 years of Winkler, MB went to her eternal rest.
She leaves to mourn her passing 1 daughter, Lenore and Lindsay Harder of Spruce Grove, AB and their children Byron and Peter; 1 son, Jim and Lorna Wiebe of Winkler and their sons Andrew and Matthew; 1 sister, Hedy and Jack Lepp of Vineland , ON; and 1 brother Herman “Hank” Peters of Winnipeg and their families.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with Reverends Ben Pauls, Peter Penner and Menno Janzen officiating. Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
A heartfelt thanks to the staff at Boundary Trails Health Centre for the excellent care they gave.
