Lawrence (Wayne) Richardson
January 18, 1941 – March 1, 2005
Surrounded
by love, Wayne passed away with peace and blessings. Forever in our hearts, he
leaves his strengths and love with his wife of 24 years, Willi; his two
children, Candis (22) and Marcus (18). Left to cherish his memory are many
friends and family. His three sisters, Jude Wesley and family of Minnedosa;
Lorna Hales and family of Brandon, and Sherry Cochrane and family of Edmonton,
Alberta.
In everything Wayne did, he committed 110% of himself. From his tool businesses, TCB & Wayne’s Farmshop to his most recent business enterprise, Boundary Trails Taxi of Morden.
Wayne lived for his family. Through good times and hard times, he never wavered in his support, love and compassion as a father or as a husband. He loved children and showed it in his support of helping his wife with running a home day care for 18 years and foster home for four years thereafter.
It is with peace and understanding that we celebrate Wayne’s continued journey of life as he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and was baptized just prior to his passing into His heavenly Father’s arms.
Willi and her family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Boundary Trails Health Centre for the care and compassion extended to Wayne during his stay. As well, she and the family wish to thank the church family and friends who so graciously offered their love and support with prayer, meals and help with the taxi business. God bless you all!
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, it was Wayne’s wish to send your contributions to working God’s love and compassion through the Morden Chapter of Youth for Christ 809A Stephen St., Morden, MB R6M 1G2.
A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 11:00 a.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel.
Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden in care of arrangements.
