Kevin Schindel

1975 – 2002

Kevin was born on October 23, 1975 in Winnipeg, to Ruth and Ken Shindel, the brother of Shawn. Kevin spent his earliest years in Winnipeg then moved to Brandon at the age of 4 with his mother and brother, where he spent most of his school years. He and his mother moved again to Winnipeg where Kevin finished high school and eventually took a Food Services course at South Winnipeg Technical School.

Kevin was diagnosed with cancer on June 13^th of this year, and had surgery the next day. Then on June 23^rd, he died unexpectedly of complications from the surgery.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Ruth Fehr and his brother Shawn, also by his father Ken Schindel, 2 grandmothers, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kevin was predeceased by an infant brother Jody, who died in December 1973, and by his two grandfathers.

Funeral service was held on Friday, June 28, 2002 at 2:00pm at Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden with Ray Klassen officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery, Morden.
