Katherina Friesen (nee Wiebe)

1914 – 2005

Peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, with her granddaughters Lisa & Juanita & sister Mary Friesen at her side, Katherina “Tina” Friesen (nee Wiebe), aged 90 yrs of Winkler, MB formerly of Hochfeld, MB. went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing son Neil & Teresa Friesen; grandchildren Lisa & Patrick, Juanita & Neal, Ursula, Victoria, Vanessa & Sergio, & Carlos & Laura; 6 Great-Grandchildren; 1 sister Mary Friesen; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband John F. Friesen, daughter Ann Wells & son-in-law, Allan Wells.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday May 4, 2005 at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, with Rev. Abe Wiebe & Rev. Dave Wiebe officiating.  Internment followed at the Hochfeld Cemetery.
