On Sunday,
January 4th, 2004 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, R.M. of Stanley,
Katherina “Tina” Banman (nee Thiessen) of Winkler, aged 89 years, went to her
eternal rest.
Tina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry in 1981; son, Frank in infancy, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
Tina leaves to mourn her passing daughter Leona and husband Peter Thiessen of Vanderhoff, BC; four sons, David of Winkler, MB; Henry and wife Carol of Pilot Mound; Jake of Winkler; and, John and Shirley of Winkler. She also leaves to mourn two brothers and two sisters, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren
The funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th at 11:00AM at the Grace Mennonite Church, Winkler, MB with Rev. Richard Knight officiating. A cemetery interment followed at the Winkler Cemetery.
