Katharina "Tina" Giesbrecht

1915 - 2002

On Wednesday, February 6th, 2002, at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Katharina Giesbrecht, age 86 years, of Morden, went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing her 3 sons Rudy and Heather of Thompson, John and Glenda of Morden, Menno and Debbie of Flin Flon; 3 daughters Lydia and Henry Friesen, Betty and Gary Robson of Mapleridge, BC, Kathy Dreger of Abbotsford, BC; 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

She was predeceased by husband Henry F. Giesbrecht in 1977.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Morden, with Rev. John Friesen officiating.  Interment followed at the Southside Cemetery, Morden, Mb.
