Katharina “Tina” Giesbrecht

1928 – 2004

On Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Katharina “Tina” Giesbrecht (nee Dyck) aged 76 years, of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee, MB went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband Jake K Giesbrecht of Winkler; 5 sons; Rick and Esther of Okotoks, AB and their children Ryan, Jenn and Josh; Reg and Barb of St. Adolphe and their children Gillian and Greg; Bob “Chomper” and Wanda of Winkler and their children Twyla and husband Ryan and their daughter Isabelle, Nicole and husband Terry, and Jayme; Pat of Winnipeg and his children Amy, Darren and Kendra; Jack and Darlene of  Winkler and their son Alex. She also leaves to mourn 1 sister, Mary and Art Klassen and 1 brother, Pete and Emily Dyck.

She was predeceased by 1 daughter Theresa-Ann (1951); 1 granddaughter Vanessa and 1 sister Anne (1991).

Funeral service was held on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating. Interment followed at the Grossweide Cemetery.
