John Hildebrandt was born
in Neuendorf, Russia and was received peacefully into the loving arms of his
Lord and Saviour at the Carman Memorial Hospital.
Beloved son of the late Jacob and Susanna Hildebrandt, he was predeceased also by one brother, one brother-in-law and one half-brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Irma (nee Epp) and children Linda Friesen (Paul) of Morden, MB; Frieda Bergen (Harold) of Kelowna, BC; John (Esther) of Calgary, AB; Irma Goethals (Maurice) of Elm Creek, MB; Pete (Mary) of Winnipeg, MB; Frank (Leith) of Calgary; Henry (Shari) of Virden, MB; David (Linda) of Reinfeld, MB; James (Jody) of Carman, MB; brothers & sisters, Susan Dyck, Anna Thiessen, Katie Thiessen (Henry) and Pete (Frieda) all of Winnipeg; 32 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends & neighbours.
A Memorial Service was held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2004 at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church, 363 Gilmour Ave., Morden, MB, followed by ash interment at the Winkler Cemetery.
