Jim was born May 29, 1939, in Morden, Mb. Jim was the oldest of 3 boys and had an older sister Joan, born to Kyle and Mary Thompson. The family lived in Morden till the death of their father when the family moved to Winnipeg.
Jim was a great fan of hockey and enjoyed horse racing. Jim lived with his sister Joan for many years and worked for Max Wielde window cleaners. The family all reside in Winnipeg.
While his sister worked evenings, Jim babysat Michelle. Sunday was special; after dinner they would always watch The Waltons.
Michelle is now married, lives in Winnipeg, and has a young son named after Jim.
Jim was predeceased by his mother, father and brother Barry.
Jim is survived by sister Joan, brother Ted, sister-in-law Judy, niece Michelle and her husband Frank and great nephew Kyle.
Cremation has taken place. Committal of ashes took place Saturday, November 2, 2002, at 11:00AM.
