On Saturday April 12, 2003 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre,
Jake Neufeld, age 81, of Winkler, formerly of Bloomfield-Rosewell District,
north-west of Plum Coulee, went to his eternal rest.
He was predeceased by wife Linda (nee Hiebert) in 1963, Agnes (nee Loewen) in 2003, 2 brothers George and Abe, and 1 sister Mary Martens.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his 1 daughter Florence Neufeld of Altona; 3 sons Herb and wife Gwen Neufeld of Vermillion Bay, ON, and children Jim and wife Tracey, Sarah, Timothy; Kel and wife Kathy Neufeld of Morden, and children Chad, Tiffany, Mark; Wilf and wife Pat Neufeld of Winnipeg, and children Benjamin, Kyle; 2 sisters Helen Neufeld of Winkler; Sarah Martens of Winkler; 3 brothers Cornie and wife Lena Neufeld of Sardis, B.C.; John and wife Frieda of Chilliwack, B.C.; Frank and wife Betty Neufeld of Killarney; and families.
Funeral service was held Wednesday April 16, 2003 at 2:00pm, at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Rev. J. R. Friesen and Rev. Ben Pauls officiating. Interment followed at the Bloomfield-Rosewell Cemetery. Donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
