Jacob P. Ginter

1911 - 2003 

On Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Jacob P. Ginter, age 91 years, of Winkler, formerly of Friedensruh, went to his eternal rest.

He leaves to morn his wife Margaret Ginter (nee Hamm) of Winkler, Mb; 3 daughters Mary and Abe Unrau of Winkler; Sadie Klassen Winkler, Mb; Dorothy and Tim Stoesz of Horndean District; 2 sons Abe and Elma of Winkler; Peter and Janet of Friedensruh; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son-in-law Henry Klassen (2000); and grandson Daryl Klassen (1996).

Funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2, 2003, at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church at 2:00p.m., with Rev. Art Wiebe officiating.  Interment was held at Rosenbach Cemetery.
