2002 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Jacob G. Bergen, age 71, of Winkler,
formerly of Morden and Portage La Prairie, went to his eternal rest.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Elma (nee Schmidt), 5 sons Ivan James and wife Karen of Winkler; Kenneth Henry and wife Lois of Winkler; Ronald Arthur & wife Carol of Winnipeg; Melvin Frank and wife Karen of Calgary, AB.; Harold Jacob and wife Sharon of Winnipeg; daughter Amanda Gail & husband Andrew Clemis of Belmont; 16 grandchildren; 5 sisters; 1 brother; and families.
He was predeceased by twin daughters Joanne and Jeanette in infancy; 2 sisters; 1 brother.
Funeral service was held Monday October 14, 2002, 11:00am, Morden E.M.M. Church with Pastor Dan Koop and Rev. John Dyck officiating. Interment followed at the Rudnerweide Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
