2002 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Helena Wiebe (nee Harder) age 98 years,
of Salem Home, Winkler formerly of Horndean went to her eternal rest.
Helena was born on August 17, 1904 in the Melba School District to her parents Diedrich and Susie Harder. She married Cornelius C. Wiebe.
She leaves to mourn her passing 4 sons John and his wife Margaret of Morden; Edward and his wife Laura of Winnipeg; Jim and his wife Margaret of Winnipeg; Wesley and his wife Anne of Winkler; 4 daughters Kathlene Derksen of Winnipeg; Dorus and her husband Bob Sommers of Winnipeg; Irene McGrath of Chilliwack, BC; Violet and her husband George Wolfe of Carman.
She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius C. Wiebe in 1989, her daughter Rosa and 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Fridary, September 13 , 2002 in the Winkler M.B. Church with Pastor Ted Goossen officiating. Interment followed at the Winkler Cemetery.
