Helen Janzen (nee Dyck)

1913 - 2002

On Monday May 27, 2002, at Salem Home, Winkler, Helen Janzen(nee Dyck), age 88, of Winkler, peacefully went to her eternal rest.

She was predeceased by husband Martin Kehler in 1966, husband Jacob S. Wiebe in 1983, and husband Diedrich Janzen in 1997; daughter Gladys May Harder in 1974 and her husband Donald Harder in 1991; daughter-in-law Sharon Janzen; 2 sisters Maria Giesbrecht, Anna Vandenberg; 4 brothers Henry, John, Isaac & Cornelius Dyck.

She leaves to mourn her passing 4 grandchildren Connie & Terry Brooks of Coquitlam, B.C.; Wendy Cote of Brandon; Darlene & James Martin of Kelowna, B.C.; Jeffrey & Christa Harder of Vancouver, B.C.; 7 great grandchildren Chris, Carmen, Steven, Jarret, Rhys, Alexa, Tim; great great granddaughter Katlin; step-son Frank Janzen of Mather; 5 sisters Agatha Loedeman, Elizabeth Funk, Sara & Jake Banman, Nettie & Henry Braun, Margarethe & Clarence Rempel, Abram & Helen Dyck, Ben & Fran Dyck; and families.

Funeral service was held Friday May 31, 2002, 2:00pm at Lowe Farm Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Pastor Glen Klassen & Rev. Edward Funk officiating.  Interment followed at the Lowe Farm Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the CNIB 1080 Portage Ave. Wpg. Mb.
