Heinrich "Henry" Peters

1934 - 2002

On Saturday March 9, 2002, at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Henry Peters, age 67 years, of Winkler, formerly of Reinfeld, went to his eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Helen Peters (nee Klassen) of Winkler; 2 daughters Brenda Peters-Watral & Wally Watral of Winnipeg; Connie Peters Surcouf & Sean Surcouf of New Orleans; 2 sisters; 2 brothers, their families; and many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank H. & Maria Peters, and by 2 sisters.

An Old Colony funeral service was held Thursday March 14, 2002, at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Bishop Peter Elias & Rev. Henry Rempel officiating.  Interment followed at the Reinfeld Cemetery.
