Esther Ediger

1921 - 2003

On Wednesday, April 16, 2003, Esther Ediger (nee Van Niessen), age 81, of Winkler, formerly of Plum Coulee and Morden, passed away at Boundary Trails Health Centre.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Walter of 59 years, 1 son Bob and wife Rose of Homewood, and their children Julie, Cindy and husband Shawn Astorino, Shelley Dee; 1 daughter Colleen and husband Cliff Martens of Grunthal, and their children Chad & fiance Colleen Brenin, Christy, Carl; and 1 great granddaughter Abigail Astorino.

A celebration of her life was held on Saturday April 19, 2003 at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Rev. Menno Janzen and Pastor Glen Klassen officiating.  Interment followed at the Winkler Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre.
