Anna Letkeman

1916 – 2002

Anna Letkeman, 85 years, of Winkler, passed away August 8, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral services were held August 12, 2002 at the Winkler Reinlander Mennonite Church with William Friesen officiating. Pallbearers were Tom Enns, Dan Enns, Peter J. Redekopp, Jeff Redekopp, John E. Letkeman, Jack Letkeman. Interment took place in the Rosenbach Cemetery.

Anna was born in Hope Farm District, November 24, 1916 and married John Letkeman on April 14, 1935.

After farming in the Amsterdam District for 37 years, they retired to Rosenfeld in 1969.

She was predeceased by her husband John on July 26, 1985, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Leaving to mourn her passing are 2 daughters Tina & John Enns of Winnipeg, Betty & Peter Redekopp of Plum Coulee, 2 sons John C. & Rita Letkeman of Steinbach, Abe & Linda Letkeman of Winnipeg, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
